This weekend we loaded up the car and headed to Augusta, South
Carolina to enjoy the weekend with the family on the river. Here Matthew and I are taking it easy in the chairs and waiting for a boat ride with Captain Richard. Although it rained, we had good company and a great time. Here is the gang waiting to go take the boat into downtown Augusta for lunch. I must say, we are a good lookin' group.
Carrie and Potter enjoying the boat ride in the fog. It was a little creepy, but it made you feel like you were in a movie.

Matthew and I in the mist, and Kimberly and Captain Richard.
On Monday morning, the girls got up and headed to Jazzercise with Kimberly. The guys on the other hand, went and shot a wild pig in the neighborhood. True story. There they are hoisting it into a truck to be processed at the local meat place. Nothing says Memorial Day, like boats rides, Jazzercise, and hog shootin'! Great darn weekend.

nice to just sit back and hang out with the family for awhile; we never seem to just get time to relax as a family. We also got to see Uncle Jim and Aunt Kathy, always a hoot and a half. It was a great weekend and we are very blessed to have such awesome moms in our lives. We would not be the same
