It's a Sunshine Day

Sometimes you just have to blast music at 7:15 in the morning because it makes you smile. My usual song of choice is "Good Mornin'" from Singing in the Rain, but today called for something extra special. Looking forward to the summer when I can annoy them at a later hour.

Fireworks

After being gone for awhile in India, the girls requested to watch the fireworks with Daddy. So off we went to stare at the sky in wonder. It was pretty dang perfect.
Matthew and Goose
She sure does adore him.
At my happy place with these guys is just the best.

After School Selfie

These two right here are the reason I teach. I pray that they always have wonderful teachers who love them as their own, and that they always come running out of class into my arms. They are my biggest blessings and I am so thankful God loaned them to me.

Holly-lujah

When Matthew left for India, the girls and I headed to Disney to kick off the weekend. We had a great time together, frolicking around the park.

First stop...pretzels!
Kisses on Main Street

The perfect evening, just missing Matthew

And then this happened. Lucy named her horse on Cinderella's carousel. The video speaks for itself...Holly-lujah!

Vera on her trusty stead

Easter

I love Easter; it's my favorite time of the year. Thank you God for your indescribable gift.
Jesus Lives! The victory's one! Death no longer can appall me.
Jesus lives! Death's reign is done!
From the grave will Christ recall me.
Brighter scenes shall then commence.
This shall be my confidence!

He has risen indeed!
Being silly before we headed off to church

I'm the meanest mom ever because the Easter Bunny doesn't come till after church

Sweet sisters

All dressed up and snuggling Beans

All grown up
After Easter breakfast at church, we had a little egg hunt
Someone went a little overboard

The church kiddos from our service. Such sweet kids and parents. I so wish the church was closer to us so we could participate more in daily activities. Alas, we shall strive to do our best.

When we arrived back home the Easter Bunny had come! Lucy was  thrilled!
So was Vera!

Confetti seemed like a good idea

Happy Easter!
