Sometimes the best days are the ones spent together without a plan or a care in the world. We took advantage of the cooler weather and headed over to Disney.
This year the Daddy Daughter dance was disco themed. The girls had a blast getting ready and dancing the night away with Matthew and our sweet neighbor Mr Tim. Lucy says it best when she says, "sometimes family isn't related". True indeed. The girls got all glamoured up, including eye shadow and lip gloss, and headed out to indulge me in pictures.
Pre-dance gang
I made them take one with me too.
Sweetness. She sure does love her daddy
Where did my tiny three pound baby go?
I'm always a little jealous that I don't get to go to a dance with the girls, but I'm thankful they let me at least take pictures.
Full of extreme sass! So thankful for these two beauties and all the joy they bring to my life. Even more thankful that they have a wonderful daddy who adores them and dances disco with them.
Lucy was begging to ride bikes to the creek and feed the ducks. Of course we obliged, and she spent twenty minutes with Vera in duck feeding paradise. Then she got a little too close, and Matthew was there watching and photographing it all.
Showing the duck the bread is the first step...
Getting your finger bitten off is second. She screamed bloody murder and has sworn off duck feeding for now. Fun fact: when a duck bites you, it doesn't leave a mark. Who knew?
