New Years Eve

Since Ruthie was in town, Matthew and I got to go out to dinner on New Year's. We went out early and enjoyed a super nice, adult dinner. When we came home, Vera and I celebrated with some party hats and my Veve. I pray the new year brings us as much silliness and joy as this year.
Just being silly as we ring in 2015
Stealing a kiss at 10. We pooped out after that

Here's to a fabulous one!

The Candy Store, a Bar, and General Christmas Outtakes

Christmas was a blast and we have the outtakes to prove it!
Cousins just hanging out at the bar
Good squirrel
Lucy kiss
Chubby kiss

Enjoying her giant sucker
Enjoying their snacks form the candy store
Watching Jackson as he puffs on his candy cigarette

The family that "smokes" together
Reading time with Guga
Santa's little helper
every day is a good day to ride on a giant Christmas wiener dog
Cousin sleepover
All smiles with Guga

Gunfight at the Elseroad Ranch

Aunt Heidi got Vera a bow and arrow for Christmas and to say that Vera loves it is a total understatement. She loves firing that thing and is pretty good too. After opening it, all the kiddos picked out their weapons of choice and a gunfight broke out. I think Uncle Dan won, but Vera and Jackson were pretty close.
My own little Katniss Everdeen. May the odds ever be in Ve's favor.
Not sure who had more fun with the toys
The proud fathers with their hooligans

Jackson and Vera's faces are hysterical.
Matthew and his gun/bow carrying gals.

Cousin Love

The girls just have a blast together being silly and just being cousins
Trying to get them to hold still was close to impossible. At least we got them all by the tree and happy.
So Sweet
Perfection
Giving  Linny a squeeze

Not entirely sure whats going on here

Giving Linny the business
Chubby decided to get in on the action too
And they're down...

Happy Baptism Birthday Veve

Happy Baptism birthday to my sweet Veve. I can't believe it's been four years since we held you and watched as God's promise poured into your life. You were so tiny, only five pounds, and it was such a perfect moment. As I held you then, I know He holds you every day.
Vera Anne,
Today and always, may you trust and follow Jesus. May you surrender your life to Him, and trust His plan for you (I can't wait to see it unfold because I know it's going to be amazing). May you continue to grow in His grace, and may others see Him through you and in you.
Isaiah 43:1 Fear not, for I have redeemed you: I have called you by name, you are mine. May you always remember that you are His, live like it. I love you beyond words, and I am so proud of the little girl you are becoming.
Love, Mom
Enjoying your Baptism Birthday cupcake and song.

Christmas Day 2014

Christmas is always magical, and watching the kids go nutso made it worth it. It was just plain awesome!
I wonder what it could be?
Santa was good to us this year
Lucy went straight for the big present in the corner. Turns out it was an amazing chair from Aunt Heidi and Uncle Dan, She must have sensed it was hers.
Merry Christmas Lucy, here's your pink eye medicine. She got horrible pink eye Christmas Eve and luckily we were able to break into our friends house and steal their pink eye medicine. They actually saved Christmas and enabled Lucy to see it.
Our attempt at a cousin photo before they started tearing into everything
Chubby opening his stocking
And Lucy going for her first gift
Vera got a singing princess Aurora gown from Santa
Sweet Linny
My crusty-eyed little Santa taking in all the action

Just in total shock that Santa brought her the magical Sophia castle; it was the only item on her list this year
She had to try it on for size

Nutcracker Barbie's from Guga!
In her chair from Aunt Heidi and Uncle Dan giving us the Christmas pink eye stink eye
Holy moly Santa!
Her bow and arrow from the cousins. She LOVES this thing
Lucy and her "big one". She loves the princess horses and their castle
"Open it! Open it!"
She was SO happy to see that box sing open AND be in her Daddy's arms.
I have no idea what Linny got, but her face is priceless
Army strong, Jackson strong!
Jackson got the biggest gun I have ever seen, and it had lights and everything.
Lucgoose got a Pound Puppy, mainly since that was my favorite toy of all time, and Linny got Carebears. Both were in hog heaven
Giving her Pound Puppy a serious snuggle
Just in awe of her kipklop ponies
There are no words except pure Christmas magic
Me and my Lucgoose
Opening her Doc Mcstuffins

Merry Christmas from the Terrys
If this doesn't say "Merry Christmas" I don't know what does.
Reece was there with us too. His Christmas cross was in the corner to remind us all that the Savior who called Reece home was born today, and that changes everything. Merry Christmas!
