Cheeseburgers, School, and Sisters

For most of her kid life Vera has not voluntarily eaten anything. After almost ten years of slow and constant pressure, Vera decided to try a cheeseburger. We quickly packed up the car and headed to Culver's. She was hesitant at first, but ended up loving it! So thankful that she now has a total of five dishes she eats that include beef.

Hanging out in my classroom before school just drawing cats.
4th grade homework is no joke. Making flashcards for her vocabulary test.

I love having these two in my life. They make everything better, even 2020.

Paris for Veve

There are some days when you just have to drop everything and go to Paris.

Looking far too grown u. She is stubborn as tar, but so sweet. Such a joy to be around. She's sweeter than all the macaroons in Paris.

Stopped to paint a masterpiece.

Here's to fun days with the girls. I wish I could freeze time right here. 7 and 9 are just about perfect.

As Summer Draws to a Close

The girls and I are soon headed back to school. We will all be going face to face again. I sure did love spending time with them this summer, even though it looked different then before. They are my greatest gifts and I am so  thankful God loaned them to me.

Lucy getting her blood drawn was certainly not on my top ten ways to end summer vacation.
Vera was mentally preparing for Halloween season
There was shaved ice galore because it was 105 degrees in the shade
There were new bikinis
Supplies and backpacks were bought, and I was actually excited about it! I normally dread buying supplies and heading back to work, but we were all ready this year.
There were last minute snuggles and naps with Hans. It was such a great Summer, but here's to a great year!
