SeaWorld Shenanigans

After months and months of begging, we final took Goose to Sea World to see the otters in person. 

She was happy as a clam chillin' with the penguins. It was freezing in there so we only stayed for about ten minutes. This little Florida girl couldn't take the cold. 

While Vera and Matthew rode every single roller coaster in the park, Goose and I hit up the animal attractions. She was so brave and touched the smelly stingrays. 

Watching the dolphins swim by. Sea World is truly magical. 

Otters everywhere! This was some serious happiness. 

100 Days of School

The 100th day of school brought this little old lady out of the woodwork.  We sprayed her hair white and added gloves and pearls. A shawl and broach were added for sophistication. She used that cane like she was a pro. To top it all off she had a razor phone in her purse.

Lucy with all the other kindergarten teacher kids. Not too shabby for 100 years old. 

I think Lucy had a little too much fun pretending to be old. I'd like to keep her at 5 years old if I could.  Here's to finishing kindergarten in style. 

Nighttime Giggles

Vera is just rowing up way too fast. Nighttime is the best because she usually tells me all about her day in a final effort to avoid going to sleep. Boy did I luck out being her mom.

She Getting so Big

It was finally a no uniform dress down day and Lucy took full advantage. Leopard boots, floral dress, pearls, and a flamingo headband. Who could ask for anything more. 

Sisters. Gotta take the good and the bad

Lucy and Vera LOVE each other as only sisters can, but that means you have to take the good and the bad times. They do fight like crazy and play as best friends. Here are a few outtakes from our photo session. This is usually how a photo session ends eventually. Oddly enough, they were actually just pretending to be mad this time, but it is a pretty accurate view that does occur for real from time to time.

Daddy Daughter Dance 2019

Our annual tradition of a Father Daughter Dance is back again. The girls did great taking photos before the dance and we had a GREAT time. I am so very blessed to have such beautiful and amazing daughters. 

This was toward the end of the night. They are still going strong. We were one of the first there and we stayed until the last dance! . . . as always.

The photo booth is always a big hit. 

My Second and Third Loves

The  other afternoon a family friend offered to take some pictures of the girls. She is a real estate photographer by trade, but just has the ability to take all around great pictures. So I left the girls with her and I think she captured some sister gold. I love these because they really show their personalities. Here's to sisters, giggles, and best friends.
