The other day I read about my niece getting a pretty nasty tummy bug, and I literally said out loud, "I'm glad we haven't gotten that here yet". And that about jinxed it. Two days later Lucy was projectile vomiting everywhere. EVERYWHERE! Poor little thing just looked at me for help and there was nothing I could do. She hit both car seats on the way to the pediatrician, our comforter, and multiple beach towels. It's been five days and her tummy still isn't back to its normal self; at least she is smiling now though.
And then two days after the plague hit Lucgoose, Vera decided to join the party. Matthew had gone on a church fishing trip, and Vera decided to let it all go in the middle of the night. Poor thing kept asking me when all the germs would be out of her tummy. It was pitiful. Vera managed to directly barf on our mattress, which had no sheets on it due to Lucy's barfing moments before. Hopefully I'll get my fully functional girls back soon because being sick stinks.
