Math on my Mind

Lucy was chosen to compete in the Spring Noetic math competition. She went to school early every morning to work on math. She did wonderful and tested into the top 50% of all 3rd graders who took the test. Well done Goose. Lucy also was chosen to receive the 3rd grade honesty character award. They hit the nail on thee head with that award; you might not always want to hear it, but you can always count on Goose to be honest.

5th Grade Graduation

And just like that, I am about to have a middle schooler in the house. She had a wonderful graduation ceremony. time at CK8 and will miss it dearly next year as we begin a new adventure at a new school. She celebrated by having a field day competition followed by her "graduation", which was really just saying goodbye to the elementary side of the building. I am so proud of the young lady she has become; she really is our pride and joy. We love you Veve!

Vera's teacher, Mrs Z, was simply the best. She had the best year with her and actually came out loving math! Such a wonderful role model who inspired Ve every day!

Mothers Day 2022

Mother's Dy is always special since I have these guys in my life. After the girls dance dress rehearsal, I asked to go church and Disney for the evening. It was awesome. We watched the fireworks from the Dumbo ride and it was so special. Special that is until a spark landed on the ride tent and we had to be evacuated and the fire department showed up. Still pretty cool though.

I am so lucky to call these guys my family. I am reminded daily of how God loves me through them. 
 

Twinkle Toes

The end of the school year always means its dance recital time. This year did a tap routine to "Trip a Little Light Fantastic" and Lucy did ballet to the "Pink Panther Theme". Both did a wonderful job and danced with such grace and beauty. Way to go girls!
