Sometimes in the middle of a completely ordinary day, you realize just how wonderful and beautiful life is. I sure do love my little Goose. 

Happy Baptism Birthday!

Happy baptism birthday Vera! It is my prayer for you that you follow Jesus all the days of your life. May you always realize He is your greatest gift and that He loves you the most! Always remember that during your baptism, Jesus took you as His own. You are His daughter and you were bought at a price. May you live every day knowing how precious you are in His sight. May you always give and receive grace freely, and may others see Him when they see you.

Christmas Day

Christmas was just so magical this year. The girls were 5 and 8 and it was so much fun. Truly believing in all the magic and fun made it. We wrote letters to Santa, put out reindeer food, and attempted to stay awake to catch Santa. It was perfect. 

They were so sweet and waited patiently until all the adults came down. They were ready to go and took turns opening presents. Christmas jammies on and ready to roll.

I got them to pause just long enough to tack a picture with me. Then we stopped for breakfast and the girls played with their new LOL dollhouse while the adults ate. It was nice to slow it down and let the magic and awesomeness of the day sink in.

My only regret this Christmas was not taking more pictures. It was the perfect morning spent with family and I wouldn't have it any other way. 

And then we headed to our fabulous neighbors for Christmas dinner. Matthew even wore his holiday shirt.
