Sass and Attitude for Days

The girls love the Science Center and could spend all day there if I let them.
Taking care of business on her John Deere tractor
Picking oranges with attitude
"What do you have in your basket," asked Lucy as she tried to sneak some groceries.
Shopping for all healthy foods
Carefully coloring their masterpieces. It was a wonderful day at the Science Center

Sisters are Better than Macarones

What to do when Dad goes to Germany and leaves us here? We walk downtown and and have a fancy snack , the new macaroon store is amazing.
Sweet kissed on the cheek.
And a hug right back
Sisters are the best

The First Splash

It happened on one of those Zip- a-Dee-Doo-Dah days. Now that's the kind of day where you can't open your mouth without a song jumpin' right out of it. On this particular day, Vera decided it was time to ride Splash Mountain for the first time with Mom. We left Matthew and Lucy at the bottom, hopped into our log, and had a great time.
Veve and me as we slowly began our journey up the mountain. She was way to nervous to smile. Not scared, but unsure about what was coming next.
My eyes are closed, but Veve was all in.
We were soaked, but it was awesome!
She asks to ride it every time we go now; I guess she has to grow up at Disney too.

Reading to Lucy

Vera loves to "read" to Lucy. The bets part of all this sweetness was that Vera was reading from her kid Bible. She was improvising on the pictures just a bit.

Goodbye Beach, It was Good to Know Ya

It was hard to leave family and drive home. Vera cried for Kamdyn for a good ten minutes; I wish we lived closer.
Almost, almost.
Nothing eases the pain of a five and a half hour drive like a giant box of goldfish. See ya' later Hilton Head.

The Last Cousin Day

Our last day all together was the best beach day by far. We headed down to the ocean for one last frolic.
This Florida babe was chilly in the 80 degree weather and needed to snuggle with Dad under a blanket.
Playing beach ball with Kamdyn
Lucy got jealous and wanted some Kamdyn time too

Giving Lucy a lesson on proper wave jumping technique.
Life is better when Dad is around
Classic awesome Dad lift

Toes in the water, not a worry in the world.
The "big kids" as Vera likes to say

Matthew and his beach babes

The Goose and me
Her head fits right into the curve of my neck and I love it.She was made so perfectly just for me.

Just looking for crabs and kicking the waves

We sure did have a blast with the NC Terry's
Ruthie spoiled us and watched the girls while Matthew and I went out to dinner. It was an amazing restaurant, and so nice to have a night to actually talk to him in full sentences.

Rrrrrrr You Ready for Fun

Today we attempted to take a few family pictures, mini golf, shop, and do some general acts of fabulousness.
Just me and my girls

Lucy's face is priceless.
Sweetly smiling with the ocean crashing in the background

Sporting her Daddy's eyes and cheeks
She gives me more than a run for my money, but I sure do love her.
I think it's safe to say that Lucy is my biggest fan.
Best snuggler out there
Kamdyn and Karcie waving from one of our balconies.
Our attempt at a family photo

Pure joy. She is always happy and snuggley, unless there is sunscreen in her eyes.
Growing up way to fast
She was trying to take down Uncle Richard and couldn't stop giggling.

'
"Why do I have to take so many pictures," Lucy asked as she rolled her eyes.
There it is. Lucy with her Godfather. We love you Uncle Richard
Just swingin'
Lucy hates shoes with the fire of a thousand suns. Hates them.
Then we headed to mini golf with the family. NC Terry's headed to the expert course, but we knew better and headed for the armature  course. Good thing we did because Lucy would pick up your ball after one shot, and Vera just kept whacking the ball without any regard for the rules or form. It was hilarious.
Lucy insisted on the blue golf club despite the fact that it was entirely too big for her.
Lucy ran the "I saw a pirate" bell multiple times.
About to pick up Matthew's ball while holding mine in her left hand.
Future golf pro...not a chance. She literally had no patience for this game at all.
Pouting because Matthew and Vera would no longer let her pick up their golf balls.
She quickly recovered when she was given a pirate hat and flags by the nice owner.

Kamdyn and Ve in the stockades.
Ahoy matey!

Hilarious.
There are no words.
When it rained in the afternoon, we decided to go shopping. Lucy decided she needed a few bracelets from the rock store.
Is this too many?
I sure do love these kiddos
Just being silly
Watching a movie together in bed.
We ended the night with some Aunt Kimberly and ipad time.
